It’s been a difficult year for nursing students, faculty, and the profession, and the entire world as a result of COVID-19. Nursing students experienced grief and loss in different ways. This podcast with Dr. Alexis Hodges presents strategies that nursing faculty can use to help students cope with grief and loss in the promotion of self-care, especially in an online learning environment. The need for faculty to communicate caring and compassion is emphasized.
