Many clinical sites have restrictions on nursing students' experiences. Dr. Hansbrough shares the findings of an important study: clinical faculty (n=193) reported that nursing students are often restricted in accessing patient information they need for care, documenting care, and using the site's medication administration system. Students alternately use faculty or staff nurses' system security access.
